The setup.
The movement.
The lift.
Explore the squat, bench press, and deadlift on PowerCurve—from the machine configuration to the athlete in motion.
01 · Lower-body strength

Squat
A familiar lift.
A variable load.
Combine the base weight on the bar with independently adjustable band resistance through the squat. The gallery will show the rack configuration, the athlete’s starting position, and the complete movement.
Setup
Using the quick-release pins:
- Set the bar hooks to the desired height (suggested hole 42–48).
- Set the spotter arms at the bottom of your range of motion (suggested hole 12–18).
- Set each cable arm to the same hole position as its corresponding spotter arm.
Tip: Set the cable arms to a lower hole position than the spotter arms for added band resistance.
What to look for
Follow the athlete from the standing position through the squat and back up. Watch how the movement relates to band stretch.
02 · Upper-body strength

Bench press
Set the bench.
Shape the press.
Bring plate loading and elastic resistance together for the bench press. Gallery images will show the bench press configuration; the demonstration will show an athlete performing the lift.
Setup
Using the quick-release pins:
- Set the bar hooks to the desired height (suggested hole 26-32).
- Set the spotter arms at the bottom of your range of motion (suggested hole 6-12).
- Set each cable arm to the same hole position as its corresponding spotter arm.
Tip: Set the cable arms to a lower hole position than the spotter arms for added band resistance.
What to look for
Follow the athlete from the starting press position through the full repetition, and watch how the movement relates to band stretch.
03 · Pulling strength

Deadlift
Set the start.
Follow the pull.
Explore how the PowerCurve system is configured for the deadlift. The gallery shows the configuration with an athlete demonstrating the movement from the starting position to standing.
Setup
Using the quick-release pins:
- Set the bar hooks to the highest position (hole 59).
- Set the spotter arms under the bar hooks (hole 54).
- Set each cable arm to the lowest position (hole 03).
What to look for
Follow the athlete from the starting position through the full repetition, and watch how the movement relates to band stretch.
